Qualifying Times

In order to enter many events you need to achieve qualifying times.  For all other open meets, you will need to state your personal bests whether long course, short course, or a conversion.  Each registered swimmer will have an ID (Swim England) number and will have a record of their swimming results on www.swimmingresults.org the British Swimming Rankings website.

Qualifying times are key for the following pathway annual events:

• Swim England South East Open/Junior Winter Short Course Championships (November)
• Swim England National Winter Short Course Championships (December)
• Hampshire County Championships (January/February)
• British Championships (Olympic/Commonwealth Trials) April
• Swim England South East Regional Summer Championships (April/May)
• Hampshire Development Competition (June/July)
• British Summer Championships (July)
• Swim England National Summer Meet (July/August)
• Other Home Nation events are also held in July/August (Wales/Scotland)
